Security
Trust continues to build between law enforcement in-house and outside IGG crime analysts. Although only required is the Subject's DNA results and match lists, cybersecure systems, insurance, and best practices are implemented to ensure case information is privately preserved.
Genies are properly trained to not leave research remnants behind further protecting security and privacy of a case and all persons involved. Additionally, all Genies are vetted via a Sterling Check background check. As a convenience, the link to their background check, and a list of their education in IGG and social media will be provided. Genies will not be contracted without a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement in place and a thorough understanding of our Research Policies & Procedures.
Lab Guidance
Our belief is less hands in the chain of custody of the subject, the better. We hold the position of IGG practitioner only. However, we can walk you through the lab process. This includes directing you to the lab partner best fitted for the sample's condition and depending on which lab services the sample still requires in the process; extraction, QC, sequencing, bioinformatics services, and/or GEDCOM file upload to and sharing from the sites we work our IGG services. We will be by your side, but also know how to stay in our lane.
